The problem

One question from the council, five systems to answer it.

How many missed collections in the north district last month, and what did we do about each one? Today that answer lives in contractor reports, spreadsheets, and phone logs. WasteOS keeps the whole service on one record, so the answer is a lookup, not a project.

A solution uniquely built for your city

WasteHero’s modular platform is customized to the specific needs of your city, ensuring smoother operations and better experiences for both your teams and citizens.

One place for teams and citizens

The platform centralizes the entire waste management value chain, from self-service portals to efficient customer service, data collection, and reporting, all in one place.

Connects to what you already run

User-friendly tools that simplify daily operations, with open integration standards for seamless data flow, so you connect effortlessly to your existing digital ecosystem.

What you get

The whole service, from citizen request to council pack

Three capabilities that tie the citizen, the crew, and the council to the same record.

01
Citizen self-service

Make everyday life better for teams and citizens

Citizens order bins, report a missed collection, and follow the answer in one self-service portal. Each request lands as a case on the address, not a note in someone’s inbox, and the citizen is notified when it is resolved, without a phone queue in between.

The live day

Flexible route planning for a cleaner city

WasteHero adapts to your city’s unique needs, offering both static and dynamic route planning. Plan, adjust, and optimize routes for residential, industrial, and on-demand collections, and while crews run them, the board shows every district’s day as it happens.

03
Defensible records

Every number in the council pack traces to a record

When the council, an auditor, or a journalist asks, the answer is not a reconstruction. Every collection, ticket, and change is logged as the work happens: who changed what, when, and why. Reports are built from that record, so you can stand behind every figure in them.

What the platform guarantees

No projected savings on this page. These are properties of how WasteOS is built, and the outcome numbers that matter will be modelled on your own districts in the demo.

0
Of collections logged against the address and scheme they served
0
Service record per address, shared by citizen service, operations, and reporting
0
Untraceable figures: every number in a report links back to the record
Questions we get

The practical stuff

What municipal teams ask before they move a service onto WasteOS.

Can we use the data in a tender or procurement process? +
Yes. Reports and exports are built from the operational record, so every figure in a tender annex, whether collections completed, tickets handled, or service frequency by scheme, traces back to a logged event. You export what the process needs and can show where each number came from.
Does it work with our current fleet and contractors? +
Yes. WasteOS runs the same whether crews are your own or contracted haulers, and the driver app works on standard devices. Open integration standards mean data flows to and from the systems you already run, so nothing about your fleet or contracts has to change first.
How is citizen data handled? +
Citizen requests live on the case and the address, not in personal inboxes. Access is role-based, and the record keeps who changed what and when, so a GDPR question is answered from the record rather than reconstructed. Export and deletion requests are handled against one system instead of five.
How fast can we get a first district live? +
Most municipalities start with one district or one scheme: load its addresses and schemes, run it alongside the current process until the numbers earn trust, then widen. The honest answer on timing depends on your data and your procurement route, so we would rather walk it through on your own district in the demo than promise a number here.

Bring one district.

We’ll set up a slice of your own addresses and schemes and show you the service board on your own data before you change anything.
